Dohrn heads a legal clinic at Northwestern University Law School. I have not met her. She graduated high in her class at Stanford, but the Illinois Bar Character and Fitness Committee will not let her sit for the bar exam because of her history of blowing up buildings a long time ago. She is not ethical enough, unlike the sleazeballs who practice in front of my judge every day, one of whom, in a recent case, received a pardon from Clinton in conection with a tax beef, I think it was. She was a reference for the young woman we hired to replace my co-clerk after next year; in our chambers, at least with my-clerk and myself, a letter from Dohrn is plus. Maybe I will ask her to give a talk in our series of public presentations to the law clerks and staff attorneys. --jks
