Um, I'm not sure I get this. Yeah there was a lot of stupid shit about the dot.coms, and there's a lot that vulgar and destructive about capitalist commerce, but is electronic commerce itself intrinsically evil? I could imagine it playing a role in my democratically planned socialist utopia.
And since when do we cheer mass layoffs?
