okey doke, this is one for the record. i'm subbed to another list, dc-stuff. i get this offlist request from, ostensibly, the CEO of clickfinders.com. Steve.

first, he doesn't know how to unsubscribe from a list. second, he uses Outlook and, consequently, doesn't know what headers are so he can't look to see that unsubscribe instructions are in every post to the list. third, when i ask him if he could recall how he got on he says, someone else subbed him.

uh yeah. okay. you gotta big security breach there buddy!! sheeesh.

this is, i take it, indicative of the dot.com boom where all these idjits are running dot.coms, calling themself CEO, doing crystal meth and don't know a flaming thing about any thing. i take it this is why it sucks ass to live in dot.com/VC country, eh?
