DOLLAR ATTACK: Economic Strategies, the consulting firm of Lawrence Lindsey, Bush's top economic adviser, predicts in a confidential memo to clients that foreign-exchange markets will "test the new administration" and Treasury choice Paul O'Neill with a run on the dollar. Traders will "want to see what this guy is made of," says firm partner Coleman Kendall. He says the Bush team will hold tough and that nobody should bet against the dollar.
