In pictures: Belgrade gay march clashes
Hundreds of Serbian nationalists have attacked gay and lesbian rights activists who were holding their first ever march in the Yugoslav capital, Belgrade.
Reports say police fired warning shots in an attempt to stop the scuffling in the city's central square. At least five people, one of them a policeman, were reportedly injured.
Some went on to stone the offices of a political party that backed the extradition of Slobodan Milosevic.
