Kevin Robert Dean quoted from the BBC website:
> Nazis planned Palestine subversion
> [snip]
> A small commando team of two German officers and three Arabs was formed in
> Berlin in early 1944.
According to the BBC report almost everything went wrong:
"They had planned a landing north of Jericho but instead landed south, lost their radio equipment and became separated. Colonel Wieland and his two companions hid in an Arab village, in a cave and a ruined monastery. They found no support for any Arab uprising and were captured a week later."
So fact is that the Nazi spies were _not_ supported by the Arabs. So all the Nazis we have here are two German officers and three Arab mercenaries plus the Grand Mufti. Hardly much evidence to denounce the Palestinian people as Arab Nazis. A more adequate headline would have been 'No Palestinian support for Nazis'.
At the same time parts of the Zionist movement colaborated to various degrees with the Nazis, as documented in Lenni Brenner, Zionism in the Age of the Dictators. http://www.marxists.de/middleast/brenner/index.htm
