It toils at myriad of service jobs in the secondary labour market, waiting to ger promoted. As capitalism colonizes the hitherto uncolonized areas (e.g. the caring work) crappy jobs are plentiful, unemployment is at historical low, and firms struggle to find workers (really, ask any manager.) But amidst that plenty, good jobs are scarce - and you have to know a shitload of very important people to get them.
