FW: Openness and Honesty in Left Politics

From a former editor of one of the better M-L publications of the 70's, "Theoretical Review." As Paul Costello, Saba here wrote many good pieces including a defense of punk rock. (Only Bruce Dancis in Socialist Review and Dave Craig in Marxism Today and Robert Cristgau in the Village Voice come to mind as other lefties writing in the left press on Punk). One more note on Theoretical Review, for Althusserian neo-Maoists it was quite readable. Michael "Howlin' Wolf" Pugliese
