Turkey-as-half seems about right to me. Jordan... Jordan seems much
more like an enlightened despotism... perhaps Great Britain in the
mid-eighteenth century, where it is unclear exactly how much power
the monarch really has but no one ever wishes to test things by
defying his wishes...
