It's not unimportant to keep in mind that the concept of "anti-semitism" is a relic of nineteenth-century racial theorizing.

Actually, it began, as I recall, as a euphemism invented by an enemy of jews. Using the term is probably a bad idea, just like using "caucasian," for the same reason.
