PS. I have a degree in philosophy.  However, I became disillusioned by its
staunch conservatism & rationalizations of the status quo, obscurantism
and, as Marx aptly observed, its endless speculations to explain (or
perhaps obsfuscate) the world differently instead of changing it.  So I
defected to sociology.
