mbs: You said minimum wage increases *cause* inflation. That is not true. It is true that legislated minimum wage changes have been outstripped by inflation.

So it's worth raising the MW, when you can, contrary to your implication.

"What's secret about it? Is the minimum wage not absorbed by inflation? . . . Do most people not charge as much for the goods and services they offer for trade as they can?

mbs: presumably, but this has little to do with whether the MW causes price increases.
