You misunderstand.

My contempt is reserved for those who regard analytical studies of common sexual practices to be a real contribution to and engagement in "trangressive" politics. It is not directed at those who engage in these or any other mainstream or non-mainstream forms of sexuality.

The point was that "contempt" and "snide reference" is generally reserved, on the part of leftist "cops," for those who actually attempt to make a real, as opposed to a merely theoretical, contribution to mass organizing.

Shall I be more specific?

Is this not clear?

John
