It has nothing to do with fearing a verbal lashing. I'm not trying to be difficult either. I enjoy the list and get a lot out of it. The warnings are a minor irritation which I decided to say something about when the subject came up. If you want to limit unnecessary posting, why not simply let it be known this is the expectation (just as insults are not allowed)?
