Am I reading this correctly? Are you saying Marx (and "the Left") have a god-given religion and economic theory? Is that to whom the "ours" is referring? The sentence's syntax doesn't jive with what I've been reading lately by Marx. I do agree with your characterization of socialists and individualists; that's Marx.
