Demand to speak to the housing director Joel Mkwankwana He told me that is justified to use 100 cops for one eviction as people have resisted in the past. He claims that he cannot allow social decay and so must proceed with evictions. He also claims that for every poor family illegally occupying a house without paying, there is another poor family waiting on the list.
