What is patently obvious to most 'aware' patients (which usually comprises that group that go undiagnosed for many years) is that 'evidence-based medicine' is simply not practised.

That is, most GP's and specialists don't systematically note the patients long list of symptoms and search their reference sources in any real way to find a 'match'. (Let alone take the patient's own research into any account...arrogance being a real problem).

Take it from me, I have 20 years of painful observation behind me.
