Actually, he says almost precisely the opposite:
"More a congeries of provocative apercus than a sustained critique, [Novick's book] belongs to a venerable American tradition of muckraking. Yet like most muckrakers, Novick focuses only on the most egregious abuses. Scathing and refreshing as it often is, _The Holocaust in American Life_ is not a radical critique."
Your readings of Finkelstein seem generally pejorative.
