when i've been made to work longer hours, it's always for the benefit of the person who owns the place. or, it's for the benefit of the person who manages the place. funny thing is, all of us were working long hours. on the other hand, as a manager at a restaurant, i worked 55 hrs a week for 240$ (and they could have easily made me work more and sometimes i did, but the require minimum was 55) and my waitresses worked 30hrs a week for $300 (150$ tax free!).

i can't think of any job i work where i've been made to work long hours for the benefit of a man or even for men in general.
