Very interesting indeed. It should be pointed out that the two Marxist parties mentioned are certainly not "noncommunist". "Neocommunist" would be a better description.

Meanwhile "the communists" are actually only the PCF, those decline is well documented. So the PCF is more correctly described as but one of several communist parties in France.
