MindWalk His future did not come cheap!

From the television show The Late Show With Bob Miller (A Formal Apology) North Americans represent 6% of the world's population and use 40% of its natural resources. That is why we must have the best military in the world. The people on Capitol Hill are not sure how long the rest of the world is going to go along with us using seven times our fair share of these resources. But it is our discontent that they fear most. History has taught them that all the king's men and all the king's rules are useless against subjects who have had their fill of deceit.Hate is a very dangerous thing! It has a bad habit of backtracking. Politically speaking, our hate meter has been in the red for sometime. Election 2000 was not what the doctor ordered. If something does not come along to defuse it, we're in a lot of trouble. For eight years, we Republicans spread as much hate as we possibly could about President Clinton. To make it worse, we have done so with arrogance. Clinton's personal conduct was deplorable, but it was not his conduct we hated, it was the butt kicking he gave us at the poles. We wanted revenge, the cost was never a consideration. We turned obscure men into Republican heroes. Opportunist like Rush Limbaugh, Jerry Falwell, and Ken Starr are always available. This hate set the example for our teenagers. They took it to school, then on into courtrooms where they would stand trail for murder. They, of course, being the ones who lived through it - we have had to bury the others. Each word chipped away at what my comrades Lt. Colonel Alvarez, Chief Warrant Officer Arron, Warrant Officer Thoeman, and Sergeant Rock died to preserve. We worked around the clock to expose the worst about Clinton, yet the American people ran to him as fast as they could. Neither the poor judgement of Clinton or the words of hate peddlers could hide the fact that he cared about the American people. Now we have the exact opposite. Sixty-percent of Americans doubt that Bush won the election, let alone cares.I have never been sent a Mensa application, nevertheless, I know that we can solve most of the problems of this country with one word. Actually, it is more than just a word; it is a self-contained system. The system can be fully explained with the word - Responsibility. True, these Opportunist are not going to give-up fame and fortune for responsibility, but it is relatively easy to make them a source of amusement rather than one of discord.A new organization has recently been started to spread the word about this old way of thinking. Our slogan is, "Since you cannot buy us or intimidate us, why not join us?" We borrowed the name for our organization, MindWalk, from a movie title.I never wished to be a millionaire until I saw this movie. If I had the money, I would go buy the rights to MindWalk and show it free of charge to those willing to watch it. I would supply a free copy to every high school that requested one. Please, watch this movie! (It is available at Blockbuster and other fine video rental stores). My best advice to the Republican Party. Don't push it! Count your blessings and quietly move on. You do not want these Clinton people to get organized again. They have the money, know how, and material to make the Bush family the most hated family on the planet, and that's a distinction they do not want. If you are not extremely careful you will set your cause back fifty years. Allow me to let you in on a secret, Democrats alone did not elect Clinton! Consider this...
