<< FORT MEADE, Md. (AP) _ Once, the National Security Agency insignia, a bald eagle perched on a skeleton key, surveyed a barren terrain of top-secret letterhead, its forbidding stare known only to a privileged few.

[snipped rest of public relations story on the NSA.

yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah.]

Good grief! What an awful PR job. "Forbidding stare" (hah!), "privileged few" (phew!). "Spreads its wings", "hush-hush". Yech.

If this is what the NSA foists on us, how do we shut it up again?

So when is the NSA going to make it up to the employees it purged in a witch hunt for homosexuals after Martin and Mitchell defected? NSA's PR hasn't got around to writing it? It can only write corn?

Yuck.
