But to answer your immediate questions: there are no "forces behind CIRCARE." We are a dedicated group of individual professionals who believe in the dignity of individual human beings, and that we are our brother's keeper. Our backgrounds are varied and multi-cultural. We are mostly self- funded, and we are Absolutely NOT connected in any way to Scientology, Phyllis Schafley or others. We are trying as best we can to remain independent--that is our strength. We are growing and soon will launch a membership drive--when our website is up. Our problem is finding sources of income to maintain our educational effort to raise consciousness about research abuses. --
I have no reason to doubt Vera, so if anyone has any real evidence of anything to the contrary, this is what I accept as the situation.
