Bryan says: On an initial note, having read the interview with the Green party woman, I agree that she has the political tactics of a high-school student, and also that she wasn't clear about why they actually pinpointed her for search....but I totally disagree with you on the above statement. What is ignorant is you Kelly, that you think that she SHOULD NOT be outraged by the treatment that she got. I mean, that is ridiculous. She should be outraged and you should be outraged, plain and simple. A political act is, to a certain degree, to project into present behaviour and to judge the present, based on the coordinates of the belief system which one is trying to attain. Obviously, following your logic, I shouldn't be outraged when settlers wake up one morning and start driving tractors through Palestinian olive orchards and start putting up shacks there, because the climate in Israel/Palestine right now is one of occupation and settlement. Damn, I guess I have had this all wrong, I thought I was supposed to be outraged based on my view of the rights of man and my belief in a solution which will end the occupation of Palestine, and maybe even the creation of a one state solution (even though I know that at least a two state solution must be made for the medium term) where all people in the region, independent of their religion, will be given equal social and economic rights. But no, I am supposed to base the present behaviour of others merely on the political and moral coordinates of the present. And I guess too, I should be thankful to my fellow Israeli soldiers when they hit me with batons and arrest me for blocking the settlement roads after they don't let us have a joint peaceful protest with Palestinians who are having their fields confescated by settlers to build settlements. No I should have been grateful that they only hit me and arrested me when two among the Palestinians who we were supposed protest with were shot and killed while we were held from meeting with them. I mean, my outrage at having not been allowed to peacefully protest and having been arrested was a slap in the face to all Palestinians because I happen to be a Jewish Israeli.

Yah, fucking shit-piss-fuck-cunt-cocksucker-motherfucker-tits fuck fuck fucking yah right!!!! (See, I can swear just like you....I'm political)
