i'd suggest that you find out the predictions for death without the war. then subtract. just as even-handed analyses of the sanctions in Iraq have done.
then, talk about how the likelihood that one might die from anthrax or a terrorist plane bombing is quite a bit less than the likelihood that one might die from a car accident.
