This very same Bill Kaufman tried at least two times to get Louis Proyect fired from his computer programming job at Columbia University, after they had a few run ins on the Usenet newsgroup alt.politics.socialism.trotsky. On the first occasion, he complained to Proyect's superiors, that he was posting to Usenet on company time. The second time around, which occured in the midst of the Nader campaign, he threatened to do the same thing again, but was forced to decease after people complained about this to the Nader campaign.
