The world has, therefore, reasons to be concerned by the way the "war" is being waged, which shows lack of lucid thinking and analysis. A so-called frontline ally, who prefers to keep away from the front, so that he could continue to stab from the back. The reported plans for the induction of Turkish special forces into the Uzbeck area, which would ultimately drive a wedge between the Uzbeck and the Tadjik components of the Northern Alliance and between the Shias and the Sunnis and add to the fears of Iran. The projected participation of German troops, who know little of the region etc etc. These are not products of lucid thinking and analysis.

If the government is NOT involved in some dastardly plan, if Dr. Strangedick is not planning a bunch of permanent military bases in SA, or the occuppation of Iraq or Afghanistan or something equally convoluted, THEN the gov is truly in the hands of idiot clowns. But I'm surprised that the military would go along with some of this nonsense. I'm beginning to wonder about what shifts in the military command might have taken place since the Gulf so-called War. Unless they announce soon that SURPRISE, we've amassed 200,000 troops and have major operations in that $200bil Saudi military infrastructure Then of course there are the constant bloopers that seem intent on LOSING the ME propaganda war. Yet when you contemplate the detailed perfection of the propaganda on the domestic front, it's hard to reconcile these opposing images of the administation. Has anyone heard details of how the decision was reached by the networks to cover ground zero commercial free for, how long was it, two weeks? I surely would like to know if the Bushites were involved in that process.

When you say the administration is not demonstrating lucid thinking and analysis I think you have to consider the poso that within the context of their real ambitions perhaps their actions could make sense. Immoral, but lucid. When I heard about the German troops, then today the Dutch troops, it made me wonder if perhaps our rather shocked allies just think they need some of their own people there to figure out what the US is up to. I've gotten the general impression that Europe is making a bit friendlier noise though I expected things to move the other way. Is that because they've bought into something or because they're seeing that the US is immune to reason and they're playing it close to the continental vest? Remember that post someone sent about how excited the Clinton people were cause a team of specially trained Pakistani secret service guys were going to get BL, supposedly. And then this Gen. guy took over P. and canceled the operation? Don't ya suppose for a mere $100 mil those guys woulda picked up or killed BL for the US? Or something? I can't help but question the motivations and real desired results.
