Is it? Hezbollah runs candidates for offices. It operates social welfare
agencies. Its military wing is virtually disbanded. It has a few guerrillas
fighting against Israeli troops on a tiny patch of Lebonese land that Israel
still illegally occupies.
How is Hezbollah any less legitimate than the Israeli Likud, an outgrowth of the openly terrorst Lehi paramilitaries of the 30's and 40's?
