i just think if you're going to have an open community like this, there are more important things for people to get pissed off and aggressive about. and given how combative the list already is (which is fine, in principle--i've participated in some of those fights), maybe opportunities to help each other out rather than berate each other should be taken as such instead of as yet more opportunities to berate each other. if bryan were sending email after email to the list asking the same questions with the same answers, that would be one thing. he wasn't. in fact, he's been quite helpful in the past.
whatever. i don't want to start fighting about *this*. i'm done.
