Washington, DC think-tank seeks Masters level policy analyst. Position will focus on the analysis of federal and state policies intended to improve the economic conditions facing low-income working families. Candidate will work closely with economists and policy analysts to analyze existing policy ideas and programs, as well as to conceive new ideas. Candidate will also serve as liaison between our institute and other (primarily) DC-based organizations. Program areas of interest include, but are not limited to, TANF, poverty, EITC, child care and other work supports, wage policies and other labor market regulations.

Position provides unique opportunity to combine research, policy analysis, and coalition-building.

Applicants should possess an MA in policy analysis, economics, or related field. Salary is commensurate with experience and accomplishment.
