Michael, I do not get it. You seem to be digging into shithouses and then complain that the world smells like manure. One can find higher life forms crawling on the walls of shithouses than those populating the halls of media punditry. What else would you expect from these quarters?

Since I do not own a TV, my media experience is limited to NPR and web-sites of major media outlets, such as NYT, CNN, or the Guardian. And what I have found there so far is quite palapable to say the least - all reports disapproved (relatively isolated) attacks on Muslims in this countries, these reports were counterbalanced with those people taking a stance agains xenophobia, and various voices calling form restaisn, common sense and tolerance.

Many media pundits are simply sluts - will do any trick with their mouths for a paying client. But why on earth should anyone pay any attention to them, let alone treat them seriously. That gives them even more publicity.

Choose your enemies wisely. Do not despair when you happen to step into manure lying on your way - just wipe off your shoe and go on. Or better yet, stay away from the gutters to avoiding stepping into manure.
