I only know one Desert Storm vet. He is African American. He never talks 
about his experience except when he is under stress/drunk. At that point he 
tries to talk about it but can't and weeps uncontrollably. He also keeps 
himself pretty continuously drugged.  Since the WTC bombing he has been 
pretty strongly "patriotic."
