Leftists should demand that the U.S. government obey international laws; work hard to expand the emergent anti-war movement; and build up a well organized Left, so we will be in a position, in the future, to propose & implement a realistic socialist alternative to the world that breeds many terrorists. International law without international police is meaningless. The other stuff is irrelevant, not to mention unfounded. We've seen there can be terrorism in opposition to socialism, or under the banner of socialism.
