Yes, we need to be blunt here: when the U. S. and its minions kill innocent people, they're defending freedom. When the enemies of the U. S. and U. S. economic interests kill innocent people, they're committing terrorist acts. Is there any hope of all that we can get more people to see the hypocrisy of this?
I think this war on terrorism is in fact the war on drugs on the global scale: justification for more intense military/police control of unruly populations. And just as the definition of "drug dealer" is widened to include women who live in homes with a person who sells crack, the definition of terrorist will widen to include anyone to breathes a word of dissent against the Defenders of Freedom.
