God I'm so glad to hear people give Sontag her due. She's the worst of the
"public intellectuals," hands down. Should just write a damn book called
"It's All About Me" and be done with it. She is, as Cockburn said of another
person of her ilk, "a veritable popcorn machine of self-regarding blather."
