This is a remarkably crude and ignorant piece of misrepresentation. Not only does the author, apparently purposely, misconstrue the (one) passage from Chomsky that he quotes, he also shows himself simply unfamiliar with what Chomsky has written elsewhere. (Cf. the remark on "speaking truth to power.") A serious attempt to respond to Chomsky from an American prospect position might be interesting, but this isn't it. --CGE
