this is ignorant. is apprehending and prosecuting, possibly even violently, a racist proto-fascist organization holed up in the mountains of Idaho accurately understood as THE way to "eliminate racism". No, it would be apprehending and prosecruting criminals. doug is not proposing to eliminate terrorism. the concerted strategy you and yosh have cooked up is to suggest that he's bought into the administrations "war on terror". doug hasn't done so. instead, he's proposing that we should pursue a strategy to pursue Al Qaeda and such a project will entail some form of limited war: people will die in the process.

now, carrol, please explain how you and your buds can gleefully rejoice over a war as THE way to organize a viable socialist struggle. then, answer yoshie's ridiculous questions yourself:

please explain how you will organize an international struggle. what tactics will you use? what methods of communications? what will the rules be for adjudicating disagreements? how will a leader be selected? will there be formal democracy? substantive democracy? does it matter? does a socialist struggle involve violence? how many causalities are acceptable? if violence is used, against what/who? will it be cops and courts or the violent suppression of counter revolutionaries? what are grounds for identifying a counter-revolutionary? how do you propose to fight off the cops? the military? how to you propose to win over dissenting factions of the military? the police forces?
