I gave this some thought and I guess if you think I'm
arguing in bad faith or under some kind of compulsion, I
_haven't_ established _bona_fides_ at all.  I thought my
_argumentum_ad_odorem_ would balance others, but...  I'd
better just take refuge in my Latin books for awhile.
