>More recent agit-prop from the CPGB.

So what's the CPGB all about these days? Didn't they dissolve at one point? Have they re-formed?

Doug

Same name, different bunch! The old CPGB, divided between the intellectuals around Martin Jacques, who put out, "Marxism Today, " which I subbed to back in the 80's (what a nice looking rag, it was. ~~Revisionist, Eurocommunism never looked so glossy!~~[Enver Hoxha, "Eurocommunism is Anti-Communism." Robert Steigerwald, if memory serves, polemic from the GDR, "Eurocommunism: Anti-Communism In Left Disguise."]) and the trade unionist, "Tankies, " who put out the daily CPGB newspaper, The Morning Star, dissolved in 1991. (Chris Burford was a member in it's final month or so.) The Eurocommies morped into Democratic Left, which then had another name change, whose name escapes me right now. The Morning Star folks are still around holding up the old traditions, under the name of the CPB and/or CPGB(PCC)
