because you complaints about my structuralist perspective--something you picked up from rob--were misplaced in the earlier thread. for instance, in response to mina, you complained about structuralism and then tried to replace strcuturalism with a discussion of unconscious motivations. well, that's perfectly consistent with structuralism. similarly, the comments you offered as "critique" recently were attempts to criticize the author, but didn't advance past the author's own framework, simply repeated them: you weren't addressing the author's explanation of why rape occurs (what causes rape). the author was talking about the effects of people accepting rape as "just the way it is" or "not caring". your comment made little sense to me, and i interpreted it as following the same misguided assumptions about structuralist analyses in the last thread.

now, when you get a moment, please elaborate precisely how i'm a big bully. it wasn't a joke, because you already said that same thing offlist, twice. if you can't concretize your complaints, i cannot take them seriously.
