What kind of 'anti-war movement'?

The following sentence just leaped out at me:

>It is my hunch that the current anti-war movement isn't [having] much
>effect because the usual Left sectarians are fighting over the new
>movement du jour..

This really floors me. You believe that the only reason we aren't storming air bases, turning the guns around, etc. etc. right now, is that left sectarians are fighting with each other? That if we socialists had put all our human and material resources at your disposal from September 12 on, following your counsel about direct non-boring action, refusal to cooperate with the police, and whatever other tactical issues you believe we have fallen down on because we haven't heeded your advice, in that case the movement would be having a "much effect" by now and would be seriously impeding the U.S. from engaging in genocide in Afghanistan?

I honestly think you are underestimating the practical difficulties of stopping the U.S. war machine.
