Apparently you misunderstood me. Perhaps my prose lacked clarity. The label "fringe liberationist" was my invention, and I doubt anyone not on the left has that view. But "fringe radicals" sounds about right for NBC New viewers.

On the other hand, perhaps you did understand me correctly and doubt that most Americans are nuanced enough to not equate the actions of HAMAS with those of all Palestinians. If that's the case, I can only respond "that's ridiculous."
