The problem is, while one should take VERY seriously any neo-Nazis growing up in
the neighbourhoods they live in (and drive them out), in most parts of the
world- particularly the US and Canada- Anti-Semetism as an actual social force
of the far-right (the far right which gets used as "shock troops", etc...if you
will) is almost dead. While it is somewhat pointless (and reactionary) for a
conference on anti-semetism to be invaded and shouted down, we need to realise
that only one thing can really allow a resurgence of anti-semetism as a real
organising force for Nazi and KKK types throughout North America (and, I
suspect, most of Europe)- and that is the dual whammy of Israel and a racist
media. I say racist because of their framing of the issues as simple minded
anti-semetism- which, since it falls so easily before reasoned analysis-makes
the media appear "Jewish controlled", etc. In the US, if you combine that with a
class breakdown of the place of Jews in american economic superstructure and you
get the simple minded "socialism of fools" effect for righteous people.

Until *Israel* is gone, dead and buried- and with it the American media "don't
go there approach- all talk of attitudinal problems against Jews will be empty.
It is not superstructural anti-semetism- quite the opposite.
