budge reported elsewhere that eyewitness reports say people got out if they were on 81st floor. not to diminish numbers be/c , as i said, our firm had colleagues, etc. there and my boss is worried sick.

one of our clients is a subsidiary of ny stock ex and am stock exchange. i guess the financial community is just a whirl over this. my contact emailed earlier today just aghast, horrified. blah blah.

opportunistic posts about how we ought to spin this from a lefty position are as pointless as jacked up numbers of deaths and attempts to spin this to blame palestinians or dick swinging and flag waving about how great the US is on whiteringer radio. it's gratuitous bulldadda. people are damned bummed out, no matter how enlightened they are and i don't think it's going to help if we sit around patting ourselves on the back about anti-racism or how we deserved to get knocked off our throne. sure, take a defensive, ready to rock position in case there are attacks against palestinians in the US and abroad. be ready to calmly discuss the issues with others as they come up. but leave the self-righteous holier-than-thou dooda out of it.
