whenever i book flights for my kid, i can barely get a seat at that time. i _want_ to go early. they can never accommodate. that's out of tampa and orlando, though. so, i figured regular flyers might know more. i'm just not convinced given the overbooking horror stories. my boss flies mega amounts a year and he wondered same thing. he is too busy right now, so i'll find out more later.
