This is gross, no matter how much I agree with your description of the Taliban- and I do- to use scarce quotes to rant about them and call them Islamic is precisely what decent, loving human beings need to fight *against* right now. Sweeping statements about Islam, the Afghanis or even the government which is about to be incinerated. The planes have already crashed- it does us no good to join in the "string em up" chorus.
All of the emotions need to be guarded and careful... do not incite more hatred, break the cycle. Now, before it is too late. There are no ideologies for ther next few days. Their is to remain only human emotional responses. Make damn sure that you are clear as to who is whatever is, etc etc...
