So it goes. As before, I can only point to the historical record and note that the idea of bearing witness is not an empty notion. There is value in stating what you know to be true about the causes of this catastrophe and the foolishness of an excessive response, even if people are angered by these statements. When the public looks back in regret, it may be willing to admit the truth of those statements.
