. No, that's wrong. 200,000 is the usual estimate of the total numbers killed in the 1992-95 Bosnian war--Serb, Croat and Muslim combined. No one knows for sure how this figure is divided among the ethnic groups. At the end of the war the Bosnian public health institute published figures saying that each of the three ethnic groups lost about the same proportion of their respective populations - about 7% each.

A good, sober, dispassionate survey of the war and intervention is The War In Bosnia-Hercegovina, by two academic Yugoslavia specialists, Steven Berg and Paul Shoup.
