Missed the show but read the transcript. Some light shines through (via Huffington), but I was intrigued by what Maher said about having to get past "political correctness" once and for all, given the New Era we are in. Now, "PC", as we know, has meant anything that is seriously uttered by those left-of-center. But this very crowd, which supposedly controls all thought, has been under serious attack in the past week. It would seem, then, that we are already past "PC" since the majority of those with access to public forums are stressing values that supposedly run counter to everything "PC" stands for.

Then I read that Maher meant profiling Arabs.

Oh.
