"Crime against humanity" was first introduced, I believe, in the Nuremberg trials to describe the deliberate and methodical killing of six million jews, romani, homosexuals, "mentally deficient," etc. It is idiocy to use the same term for the September 11 attacks. Against that standard, those attacks of last week were a very minor episode we ought not to be fussing about.
